Excellent line up, bit I dislike the Paradise Rock Club. They are not the right venue for a tour of major bands. The club has a weird design and it's not big enough to handle shows like this as no one can move and the bartenders start giving you shit when you stand at the bar when there is no other place to move to.

The House of Blues in Dallas is a big venue and I have seen many shows there already.

We usually go across the street first for parking and to get few beers. After that we just walk to the venue. I'm really excited about seeing Kreator again. \m/

The House Of Blues in Boston would be perfect for a show of this caliber. The Paradise Rock Club is just too small. Or they could have had it at the Palladium in Worcester.

Alright...where do I begin?

First as always when I go to House Of Blues for a show I go early and go across the street to drink beer. Reason is for 2 32.oz of Shiner I paid $14. That's exactly what I paid for 1 Corona inside the House ob Blues. But anyways.

The very first band was local and I can't find any info on them. I only heard the last two songs but really liked it. I'll keep searching for these guys.

Second band was Horrendous. Never heard of them or what they are about. At some points I was going what is this shit? At others holy shit this is awesome. I think they are Death/GrindCore and I kept thinking songs start out and end really slow. But the middle parts are killer Metal. I just hope the drum set they had was a 3 piece and only because of the space. Couldn't even hear the double bass and thought if drummer tripled his efforts I would still think that's not enough.

Third was Midnight. Don't even know what to say about these guys. It's a trio. They are more Heavy I think. Again some stuff I enjoyed some not so much.

Than came Obituary. I think I put these guys into a pool of Death Metal bands that I would not like and wow was I wrong. They had a killer set. I liked absolutely everything. And definitely will be checking their material out.

Finally it was time for Kreator. What can I say. After Megadeth they are favorite band to see live. They brought the house down. I was headbanging all set long. I could barely stand after they were done. They played a great mix of hits plus at least 5 songs of the new album. I walked away thinking best concert this year hands down. I actually couldn't sleep last night that's how much fun I had \m/
